Foster!

I haven't really mentioned Foster in this blog yet, so it's time to give him some air cover. We think he is about 10 or 11 now (got him from the pound so we don't know for sure), and he's starting to slow down just a bit. He has always been SO good with the kids, and we couldn't ask for a better dog. We hope he is with us for years to come.

March Update

Hello all!
Time to update the blog again. We've had a great couple of months. Chad turned 5 in January, and is currently a pirate when not playing the role of our son. Audrey is our little talker/singer/dancer and loves to assert her views on what she wants (or doesn't want) to do.

Last weekend Chad and I took an overnight expedition to the beach. The weather was great, and we explored some really neat spots between Tillamook and Lincoln City. Chad really enjoyed digging in the sand, playing with one of those kelp whip-like thingies, and poking anemonies in the tidepools. He also learned (not the hard way) about sneaker waves. After spending the night in a real, live MOTEL ROOM(!) we spent some time Sunday at the Aquarium in Newport, and hit the Cape Meares Lighthouse and the Octopus Tree on our way home. I had a lot of fun too, and it made me realize that we need to get out more!

My Mom is in Hawaii for the month, Teresa and I our looking forward to her return so we can go out on a date! More updates soon... love to all.
